The Role

Live and work in one of Tasmania’s most iconic natural settings. We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Front Office Manager to lead our front desk operations at Cradle Mountain Resort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily front office operations, ensuring warm welcomes and seamless service.
  • Mentor and support a high-performing team in a collaborative environment.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for smooth resort operations.
  • Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations via RMS.
  • Provide local insights and resort information to guests.
  • Build strong relationships with guests and park teams.
  • Be available on a rotating 7-day roster, including 3–4 nights on-call per week.

What we look for

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A guest-first mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in hospitality and front office operations
  • Proficiency in RMS and other booking systems
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Flexibility to live and work in a remote location with on-call responsibilities
  • Valid driver’s licence
