The Role

We’re on the lookout for a highly motivated and experienced Front Office Manager to lead our front desk operations on stunning Rottnest Island.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and support the daily operations of the front office team, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service for every guest.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team, promoting a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the resort.
  • Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations using the RMS booking system.
  • Liaise with Housekeeping to manage room readiness and guest turnover.
  • Respond to guest queries, providing helpful local knowledge and resort information.
  • Take responsibility for general office administration and night audit functions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with park teams, long-term residents, and guests alike.
  • Be available on a rotating roster over a 7-day period, including on-call responsibilities 3–4 nights per week.

What we look for

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A guest-first mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in RMS and Excel.
  • Experience in night audit procedures.
  • Flexibility to live and work in a remote location with on-call responsibilities.
  • Desired but not necessary: First Aid and Working with Children Check
