The Role
We’re looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our team at Undara Experience in outback Queensland.
In this hands-on role, you will work closely with our small team in the kitchen, delivering high-quality à la carte meals at our onsite restaurant. You’ll support daily service, from prep through to plating, and help ensure a great dining experience for our guests. This is a great opportunity for a versatile chef who enjoys working in a unique, remote location with a focus on quality food and genuine hospitality.

About You
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
- A passion for Australian native ingredients and an eagerness to learn
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience in a similar role (for Senior CDP, leadership skills are a plus!)
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or lengthy tenure in chef role)
- Food Handling Supervisor certificate
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster
- Current driver's license is highly desirable

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Undara. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
