The Role

Want a job that’s simple, hands-on, and comes with the bonus of living in one of Australia’s most breathtaking locations? We’re looking for a Kitchen Attendant (Dishy) to join our team at Discovery Resorts – Kings Canyon.

This role is all about keeping our kitchen running smoothly. You’ll take care of cleaning, dishwashing, and general support so our chefs and food & beverage team can focus on serving great meals to our guests.

Duties

  • Washing dishes, pots, and utensils
  • Keeping kitchen and work areas clean and tidy
  • Emptying rubbish and maintaining hygiene standards
  • Supporting the team with general cleaning duties

Skills & Experience

  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well in a busy team environment
  • Someone who’s happy to roll up their sleeves and get the job done
  • Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not required

This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
