We’re seeking passionate Back of House Kitchen team members to join our resort in a remote, live-in role. Whether you’re an experienced Chef de Partie, an emerging Commis Chef, or a reliable Kitchen Hand / Attendant, this is an opportunity to build your skills while experiencing something truly unique.
Important to know
This is a remote position, where you will be living and working at Kings Canyon. Please carefully consider the realities of remote living for an extended period, including limited access to services and time away from major centres.
About the role
Depending on your experience, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking quality meals for resort guests
- Supporting the Head Chef and wider BOH team with daily operations
- Assisting with food preparation, service and kitchen set-up/pack-down
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
- Working collaboratively in a close-knit team in a remote environment
This role involves extensive manual handling, including lifting up to 20kg, kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and operating kitchen machinery.

- Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
