The Role

Working as part of a collaborative kitchen team, the Chef de Partie will help deliver a high-quality breakfast and dinner service across a diverse food offering, including buffet breakfast, à la carte dining, conference catering, group dinners and seasonal set menus. This hands-on role offers plenty of variety, allowing you to showcase your skills while maintaining consistently high food quality, presentation and service standards.

You'll support the day-to-day operation of our commercial kitchen, assist with mentoring and developing junior team members, and work closely with the Front of House team to ensure every guest enjoys a seamless dining experience. With a strong focus on fresh produce, teamwork and exceptional hospitality, this is an exciting opportunity to grow your culinary career in a truly unique location where no two days are the same.

About You

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role 
  • Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in electronic purchase ordering and cost management
  • Proven experience in planning and developing menus
  • Proven ability to work within a team and autonomously
  • Ability to prep and organise ahead 
  • Current First Aid Certificate is highly desirable
  • HACCP experience essential, with a high emphasis on food hygiene     
  • Current driver's license.

This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
