The Role
We’re on the hunt for passionate Chefs to join the team at Discovery Resorts – Lake Argyle. Whether you're a seasoned CDP or just stepping into your next big kitchen opportunity, we want to hear from you.
You’ll be working in a resort kitchen that delivers quality meals to our guests – think relaxed bistro-style dining, bulk prep for groups, and plenty of variety to keep things interesting. We’re open to all levels, so if you’ve got solid kitchen experience, a great attitude, and you’re not afraid of adventure, this could be your next move.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a commercial kitchen (CDP level preferred, but not essential)
- Ability to thrive in a remote location
- Flexibility to work across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
- Team players with a sense of humour and a can-do attitude
- Cert III in Commercial Cookery
- Drivers Licence (manual preferred)
- Food Safety Supervisor
- First Aid certificate is preferred but not essential

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Lake Argyle. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
