The Role

As a Porter, you'll ensure guests have a seamless enjoyable stay. This role requires a friendly, proactive individual who is physically fit and enjoys guest interaction.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Transfer of guest luggage between the island ferry and accommodation
• Transfer of guests between airport and property
• Delivering exceptional guest experience
• Upkeep and cleanliness of grounds and gardens
• Maintenance tasks across all park assets and facilities
• Cleaning of communal areas such as BBQs and amenity block
• Ensure the Park is compliant with all safety and brand standards
• Daily park operational tasks

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role or in grounds keeping and property maintenance
• A current valid driver’s licence is essential with ability to drive manual vehicles
• Ability to safely operate powered hand tools & equipment
• Great communication and relationship building skills
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude
• A focus on always providing excellent customer service
• Excellent time management skills and flexibility to work over a 7 day roster
• Knowledge of correct manual handling techniques and WHS awareness
• Pool maintenance experience would be advantageous
