The Role

Nestled in the heart of the Snowy Mountains, Discovery Parks Jindabyne is a vibrant, high performing holiday park offering year-round adventure for families, skiers, mountain bike riders, and nature lovers. With a new mountain bike facility development underway ahead of the coming winter season, the park is entering an exciting period of growth, and we are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join the leadership team.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Park Manager and leading day to day operations, with a particular focus on:

  • Oversee day-to-day maintenance across cabins, grounds, utilities, and park facilities
  • Coordinate asset management, preventative maintenance schedules, and contractor engagement
  • Support the Park Manager with operational tasks and on-site leadership
  • Assist with guest relations and problem-solving when needed
  • Maintain compliance, safety standards, and high-quality presentation of all areas
  • Help ensure smooth operations during a busy, high‑occupancy environment
  • Assisting with upcoming development projects


What You’ll Need

We are looking for a superstar individual who can contribute to the smooth running of the park and who has the ability to lead park operations in the Manager's absence.

  • Proven experience in hospitality/accommodation management
  • Strong experience in grounds, maintenance, or facilities management
  • People leadership skills with a focus on training and development
  • Strong financial management and budget oversight experience
  • Tech savvy with RMS experience or similar reservations systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-centric approach
  • Flexibility and availability for weekend and after-hours shifts


Before receiving a job offer, candidates must consent to a Federal Police Clearance. Additionally, a valid Working with Children's Check specific to the state is required.

This role may require heavy lifting (up to 20kg), kneeling, squatting, and working with chemicals and machinery.
