About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager this position will play a key role in supporting the financial management, reporting and compliance activities across our park operations. This role will also assist with the integration of newly acquired parks into existing finance systems, processes and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journals, reconciliations, accruals and month-end processes for allocated parks and entities
  • Support financial reporting, variance analysis and management reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial insights

Bank Reconciliations & Cash Management

  • Perform daily and month-end bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions alongside Accounts Officers
  • Support treasury activities while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial records and transactions

Accounts Processing & Operational Support

  • Support invoicing, supplier reconciliations and general accounting administration across operational entities
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to resolve financial queries and maintain accurate financial data across systems

Integration & System Support

  • Support the integration of newly acquired parks into finance systems, reporting structures and standardised procedures
  • Contribute to finance transformation, process improvement initiatives and the implementation of financial controls

Compliance & Controls

  • Support compliance with statutory, tax, audit and internal policy requirements, including audit preparation activities
  • Maintain adherence to internal controls and governance frameworks through accurate documentation and reporting

 

About You

You are a collaborative and proactive finance professional with strong technical accounting capability and excellent attention to detail. You enjoy improving processes, building relationships and working within a dynamic operational environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • 3–4 years’ experience in financial accounting, external audit or a similar role
  • CA or CPA qualification (or currently working towards) preferred
  • Strong experience with reconciliations, month-end processes and financial reporting
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
  • Experience in operational or multi-site environments (desirable)
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience using ERP or financial systems
  • Workday experience (desirable)
