The Role
This role will assist to drive our Trade distribution strategy by providing the highest level of customer service to our trade partners. This role will require someone who is a digital native to work across multiple programmes and platforms.
You will be responsible for responding to both phone and email enquiries within a timely manner as determined by specified key performance indicators primarily for the trade function of our business, but also supporting our loyalty program (G’DAY REWARDS) Members, park network and customers.
Key responsibilities of role include -
- As part of the Community Experience team, assist with incoming calls & emails from the park network, loyalty members, and customers.
- Operating the reservation system
- Build rapport and strong working relationships with Trade Partners and internal stakeholders
- Self-motivated to develop and maintain knowledge of all properties, contracted inventory and trade partner movements
- Confidently up-selling inventory or cross-selling properties
- Assist with Web Booking enquiries, Customer Cancellations and credit invoices, process voucher distribution, bookings and redemptions
- Assist with any G’DAY Group product related queries and feedback
- Assist in educating other internal stakeholders on trade processes.
Your Experience
To be successful in the role you will have -
- Previous experience working in a sales environment ideally in the accommodation or travel trade sectors
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Possess knowledge of the trade distribution network - preferable
- Experience in working towards key performance indicators (KPI’s)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in working with a diverse client base
- Friendly, confident and professional phone manner, excellent written communication
- Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service
- Digital native with the ability to navigate new technology and computer systems efficiently and accurately
- Can do attitude with ability to use initiative
- Experience working with SiteMinder (channel manager) and RMS (property management system) would be beneficial, but not essential
