Yard hand / Front End Loader Operator

The role

If you are a mechanically minded individual who likes hands on work and problem solving then this is the opportunity for you!

In this diverse position you will play a critical role to ensure that concrete specifications are accurately met, and the site runs smoothly. You will undertake training in operating a Front Ended Wheel Loader and be hands on with general maintenance and general yard duties at the site. The right candidates will also have the opportunity to develop further with training in how to operate a concrete batch plant

This role is based in Welland, SA. Working Monday to Friday, with Saturday work as required.

Start and finish times will fluctuate and be changeable depending on customer demand.

Responsibilities

• Front end loader operation
• Plant maintenance
• General laboring and house keeping
• Follow all CoR and health and safety policies and procedures

What you will need to succeed

• Front end loader ticket and experience – desirable but not a necessity
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to work as part of a small team and independently
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and problem solve
