The Role

Adbri Concrete is seeking a proactive and organised Logistics / Transport Administrator to support the day-to-day management of our heavy vehicle fleet, contractors, and logistics administration functions in South Australia.

This is a diverse and fast-paced role, providing support to the Logistics Manager and working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate records, and supporting financial processes such as processing fortnightly contractor payments and end to end processing of invoices to ensure timely payments are made.

This position offers variety - you will work across multiple systems and tasks, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys juggling priorities, is detail-focused, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

To be successful in this role you will be required to have had experience using SAP to process payments and Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Support in managing our heavy vehicle, subcontractor drivers, and employee compliance records across multiple systems, including SAP.
  • Process purchase orders, payments, payroll cycles and contractor payments in SAP.
  • Maintain and update records for vehicle servicing, licences, E-tags, fuel cards, PPE/uniform orders, and registrations.
  • Track and report fuel usage and manage recharge processes.
  • Support with internal and external queries promptly.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data entry, approvals, and reporting.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance logistics efficiency and organisation.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Strong experience with SAP (essential) and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior experience in logistics coordination or administration, ideally with payroll responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
  • Experience with contractor management systems (e.g. Sitepass) highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work independently.
