The Role:
Looking for a change of pace and a more stable lifestyle? Join Adbri Concrete in Alice Springs as an Concrete Agitator Truck Driver and become part of a supportive team delivering concrete across Central Australia.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR Driver or someone from a transport, civil or construction background looking to relocate to a regional community with long-term, secure work and genuine variety in their day.
Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate, and full agitator training will be provided.
What your day looks like:
This is more than just a driving role - it’s a hands-on, all-rounder position with a mix of driving, yard work and site support. You’ll work Monday – Friday with 6am starts, giving you structure and early finishes. You will be responsible for:
- Operating agitator trucks delivering concrete to local and remote sites
- Travelling across regional and remote areas (sometimes up to 300km)
- Washing down trucks, basic maintenance and general yard duties
- Supporting site and quarry operations when required
You’ll receive structured, buddy-based training and ongoing support, with opportunities to gain additional tickets such as loader or forklift licences.
What we’re looking for:
We’re open to training the right person - attitude, reliability and work ethic matter most. To be successful, you’ll have:
- HR Licence and White Card (essential)
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Confidence working independently and outdoors
- A practical, hands-on mindset
- The ability to adapt to regional and remote work environments
Highly regarded but not essential:
- Forklift or loader tickets
- Experience in transport, civil, construction or concrete industries
- Agitator driving experience
