We are looking for a talented and experienced Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to provide support to a number of exciting civil construction projects across Melbourne.

This role is best suited for someone who doesn’t mind putting on boots and high vis and getting involved at all stages of civil construction – from planning up coming work, to being actively present across our sites working with our local communities, our crews and project teams.

You will join a well established Stakeholder Engagement team based across Australia, with support and guidance from the National Stakeholder Engagement Manager and Project Manager.

Based in our Southbank Office with a hybrid work arrangement, you will work closely with Project Managers to support and provide general administration assistance to site-based project teams.

Thrive with us! We hope you'll bring

  • Qualification in communications, marketing, or related discipline or
  • 2+ years relevant experience in similar role.
  • Experience in using a wide range of engagement methods and tools for different audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to regularly visit project site locations, engaging with the community, our crews and project teams.
  • Well-developed communications skills, both verbal and written, adjustable to the wide range of audiences you meet with.
  • Assist in the development of public information about our projects that is clear, timely and accessible for the community and project stakeholders. 
  • Research and write high-quality, original communications material for fact sheets, brochures, project websites and other content as required. 
  • Respond to community and wider public enquiries in a timely and appropriate manner, in accordance with established protocols. 
  • Proven skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and changing deadlines.
  • Desire to identify and implement improvements and opportunities to enhance the reputation of Diona and our clients.
  • Excellent organisation and time management.
