As an experienced Design Lead at Diona, you will focus on delivering design and documentation for a variety of underground utilities and services projects (water, sewer and stormwater) across Southeast Queensland.
Diona is engaged to provide design and construction services for Urban Utilities water infrastructure including trunk and reticulation water mains, reservoirs and facilities. Diona is the sole delivery partner in the Northern Region including Lockyer Valley, Somerset Council, and Brisbane CBD.
You will lead and manage design resources and be responsible for consulting with relevant asset owners, council and statutory bodies to ensure the design is compliant with required standards.

- Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory) and Civil 3D (highly desirable)
- Previous experience leading design teams
- Experience working on a range of underground utilities projects
- Relevant degree qualification in Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
- 8+ years design experience in the construction industry
- Commitment to quality and timely delivery with a strong acumen for detail
- A high level of written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
