We are looking for a talented and driven Procurement Manager to be part of our high performing commercial team based in our Rouse Hill office. This is a hands on role where you will:

  • Lead, support and manager the procurement process;
  • Coordinate and assume responsibility for complex procurement projects and work programs;    
  • Develop and implement the end-to-end sourcing strategies;       
  • Develop and manage relationships with suppliers;
  • Maximize profit by negotiating the best terms of contract for supply;
  • Realize and deliver cost savings, together with improved supplier performance, quality of service and risk management;
  • Manage the procurement compliance process and ensure adherence;
  • Develop and mentor a small team of procurement officers;
  • Demonstrate market knowledge


You will have strong commercial acumen with extensive experience managing supplier relationships in construction industry specifically in utilities and infrastructure sector (water & sewer, electricity and/or gas), as well as the following; 

  • Engineering or construction qualification;
  • 7- 10 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to lead key negotiations.
  • Excellent communication, representational and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding process review and mapping skills.
  • Great attention to detail
  • Skilled at using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience using COINS would be advantageous
