WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are looking for a talented and driven Procurement Manager to be part of our high performing commercial team based in our Rouse Hill office. This is a hands on role where you will:
Lead, support and manager the procurement process;
Coordinate and assume responsibility for complex procurement projects and work programs;
Develop and implement the end-to-end sourcing strategies;
Develop and manage relationships with suppliers;
Maximize profit by negotiating the best terms of contract for supply;
Realize and deliver cost savings, together with improved supplier performance, quality of service and risk management;
Manage the procurement compliance process and ensure adherence;
Develop and mentor a small team of procurement officers;
Demonstrate market knowledge
WHO YOU ARE
You will have strong commercial acumen with extensive experience managing supplier relationships in construction industry specifically in utilities and infrastructure sector (water & sewer, electricity and/or gas), as well as the following;
Engineering or construction qualification;
7- 10 years’ experience in a similar role;
Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to lead key negotiations.
Excellent communication, representational and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding process review and mapping skills.
Great attention to detail
Skilled at using Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience using COINS would be advantageous
