About the role:
We are seeking a VBHC Implementation Lead to work closely with key stakeholders across the sector to enable the delivery of DHSV’s ongoing transformation and systemic implementation of value-based health and care.
The VBHC Implementation Lead will collaborate closely with the Director of VBHC to support the strategic coordination and integration of diverse cross-functional initiatives to support the sector. This role plays a pivotal part in aligning existing projects with VBHC principles, ensuring they are effectively embedded into organisational processes and culture to drive long-term value and improved patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of targeted VBHC initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, while driving continuous improvement and long-term program success.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with senior leadership, clinical teams, operational staff, and external partners to drive and execute system-wide transformation initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by embedding VBHC best practices, driving innovation, and leveraging data-driven insights to enhance care delivery, optimise performance, and achieve lasting organisational transformation.
- Develop thorough and insightful reports, briefings, and presentations for governance committees, ensuring they are well-researched, aligned with organisational policies and regulatory standards, and support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to oversee and manage the procurement lifecycle for VBHC initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, regulatory standards, and VBHC principles.
- Prepare detailed financial budgets, oversee invoicing, and monitoring project expenditures to ensure adherence to budget guidelines and limitations.

- Demonstrates Senior Leadership in Complex Settings: You have 5+ years of senior management experience and a strong track record in executing strategy within complex, reform-driven environments.
- Applies Value-Based Healthcare Knowledge: You demonstrate knowledge of the principles and drivers of value-based health care.
- Manages Financial and Budget Responsibilities: You demonstrate strong experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, public procurement, and invoicing.
