  • Salary range (Level 2B to 3C) $50.72 to $65.83 per hour depending on experience + 12% super.

About Oral Health Victoria 

Oral Health Victoria (OHV) was established in 1996 and is the leading public oral health agency in Victoria. We aim to improve the oral health of all Victorians, particularly vulnerable groups and those most in need. OHV is funded by the State Government to provide clinical dental services to eligible Victorians.

We help to provide Victorians with quality oral healthcare through The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RDHM) and by purchasing dental services for public patients from more than 50 community health agencies throughout Victoria.

Our Dentists in our Primary Care Department play the important role of providing emergency and general dental care within the scope of publicly funded dental services, including to those patients with complex medical histories and disabilities.

A bit about you: 

  • A Bachelor of Dental Science (or equivalent and ADC Certificate)
  • Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Dentist
  • Empathetic, caring and kind – always putting the patient first!
  • A self-starter, takes initiative and has a passion for good patient outcomes
  • Availability to work Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays is preferred
  • Two years’ experience as a general dentist is preferred, however we are open to hearing from Dentists of all levels of experience to discuss options including recent graduates.
