DEWC Services is seeking experienced Electronic Warfare (EW) Consultants to join our newly established Canberra team to support the Australian Defence Force and Department of Defence with cutting edge EW technology development and application.

Tailored opportunities

With multiple positions available, an opportunity exists to tailor the role(s) based on level of experience and alignment of skills with projects and taskings. Generally, it is expected that the EW Consultant(s) will:

  • Apply contemporary technical knowledge to unique EW challenges to identify and deliver innovative improvements and enhance performance of Australia’s sovereign EW capabilities.
  • Partner with client(s) to understand, develop and execute deliverables within agreed timeframes to ensure task success.  
  • Provide leadership and support, embedding DEWC’s strong corporate values within the newly established Canberra team.  

Skills and Experience

  • Undergraduate Engineering, Science or IT degree or comparable Technical / Trade qualifications with applied experience in Defence or aligned industries.
  • Skills and/or experience in RADAR, RF/microwave telecommunications, SATCOM, Electro-optic systems, signals processing/analysis and Defence intelligence. 
  • Demonstrated hands-on ability to assess, understand and successfully solve project and complex technical challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to logically synthesize large amounts of information and communicate effectively in writing and verbally. 
  • Demonstrated technical and team leadership with the ability to shape and drive cultural alignment with DEWC’s corporate values.
