The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Partner to deliver both operational and strategic HR support across the business.

This is a true partnering role where you will work closely with leaders to provide expert HR advice, manage complex employee relations matters, drive engagement initiatives and contribute to HR projects aligned to organisational strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leaders across the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, offboarding)
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation and workplace matters
  • Manage complex HR case management with fairness and compliance
  • Support WHS and psychosocial risk obligations, including Return to Work coordination
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives including onboarding, EVP, learning & development and recognition programs
  • Contribute to HR strategy, projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure legislative compliance
  • Use data and insights to inform decision-making and improve HR practices
  • Support and mentor junior team members within the P&C function

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a corporate HR / People & Culture / HR Business Partner role
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, HR, Psychology or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong experience in employee relations and performance management
  • Solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation and WHS requirements
  • Experience working in Defence, engineering or technical environments (highly desirable)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook and Excel)
