Strategic Business Partnering Role
Ready to drive strategic partnerships and growth for a market leader?
As a member of the ANZ Commercial & Finance Team, you will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial and operational data for the ANZ Sales Entities and to make insightful recommendations focused on driving business improvements that support the Detmold Group’s sustainable sales growth and profitability objectives. This is a hands-on, onsite role based in Adelaide, SA.
What you’ll do:
- Provide commercial leadership to ANZ Sales, driving sustainable and profitable growth.
- Lead customer profitability analysis and deliver actionable insights to improve performance.
- Manage pricing governance, including price increases, cost rolls and margin optimisation.
- Prepare, analyse and support strategic customer tenders and commercial proposals.
- Partner with Sales and Supply Chain to improve forecasting, stock management and cost-to-serve.
- Review contracts, rebates and commercial terms to manage risk and optimise outcomes.
- Analyse landed costs, PPV and key cost drivers to identify savings opportunities.
- Ensure robust forecasting with clear assumptions and commercially sound drivers.
- Deliver accurate, timely reporting to support business decision-making.
What you’ll bring:
- Well-developed Commercial Acumen complimented with a strong negotiating and influencing skill set.
- Degree Qualifications in Business/Finance/Accounting.
- Sound knowledge and experience using MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Problem-solving ability and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with an ability to plan and schedule priorities and manage strict deadlines.
- Resilient with a willingness to take initiative and a continuous improvement mindset.
Desirable:
- Professional Qualification (CA/CPA).
- Previous experience working with Senior Management in a Business/Commercial role.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
