About the opportunity:

Based in Adelaide, SA and reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll manage and control the spares and consumables within the Maintenance department and assist with project coordination.

In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Ensure the efficiency and integrity of Maintenance's purchasing and inventory systems.
  • Schedule corrective and preventative maintenance.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships according to site needs.
  • Procure all necessary items promptly to fulfill relevant tasks throughout the site.
  • Schedule corrective and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to Contractor Management policies and procedures.
  • Identify and plan proactive maintenance activities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

About you:

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Maintenance planning and inventory management experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using ERP systems and stores management
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and intermediate-level Excel skills
  • Experience managing vendor and contract relationships.
  • A safety-oriented mindset with the ability to demonstrate safe behaviours in the workplace
  • Excellent attention to detail and a customer focused mindset
  • The ability to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines.

While not essential, experience in the manufacturing or mechanical industry will be highly regarded.
