Recruitment Manager

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager to lead our Talent Acquisition function and help shape the future workforce of our organisation.
Reporting to the Regional People & Performance Manager, this leadership role is responsible for driving excellence and continuous improvement across recruitment, enhancing the candidate and onboarding experience, and leading a high-performing Talent Acquisition team. You will play a key role in attracting exceptional talent across a diverse portfolio of professional, leadership, executive and specialist positions throughout the business.
About the Role
As Recruitment Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage Detmold Group's end-to-end Talent Acquisition function, including sourcing, attraction, selection, and onboarding.
- Develop innovative sourcing and attraction strategies to build strong and diverse talent pipelines.
- Partner with Hiring Managers through detailed job briefs and tailored sourcing strategies and manage senior and executive-level recruitment end to end.
- Drive continuous improvement across recruitment, candidate experience and onboarding, in partnership with People Business Partners and Hiring Managers.
- Lead, coach and develop a small team of Recruitment Officers.
- Manage external recruitment agencies and vendors, along with the recruitment advertising and agency budget.
- Ensure stakeholders understand and follow the recruitment process and comply with relevant employment legislation.
- Champion Detmold Group's employer brand across all candidate and new starter touchpoints.
- Report on recruitment and onboarding metrics such as time to hire, cost per hire and quality of hire, and share market insights to drive continuous improvement.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Significant leadership experience in a Talent Acquisition or recruitment role within a large, complex organisation.
- Experience leading recruitment activities across a broad range of functions and levels, including senior leadership and executive appointments.
- A strong consultative approach, with the ability to influence and partner effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing a recruitment team.
- Demonstrated experience enhancing the candidate and new starter experience, from recruitment through to onboarding.
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, along with expertise in talent attraction and employer branding.
- Experience managing external recruitment agencies and vendors.
- Experience working within a family-owned or multinational business will be advantageous and highly regarded.
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or a similarly fast-paced industry is advantageous.
