Executive Assistant & Events Coordinator

Location: Hindmarsh, SA

We’re seeking a highly organised, proactive, and discreet Executive Assistant and Events Coordinator to provide exceptional support to our Executive General Manager – People. This is a pivotal role where you’ll enable strategic effectiveness, manage complex priorities, and help deliver memorable people and culture initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide confidential, high-level executive support, including diary management, travel coordination, and expense processing.
  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for leadership and board meetings.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between the EGM – People and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate People Leadership team meetings, track actions, and maintain compliance deadlines.
  • Plan and deliver engaging events such as End of Year celebrations, Service Awards, Global Town halls, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
  • Support operational excellence through process improvements, vendor management, and budget tracking.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a Senior HR or Executive leader (5+ years).
  • Proven experience in Event management with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • coordinating People events such as Induction, Service Awards, Celebratory Morning Teas
  • Experience within an HR or People & Culture environment will be highly regarded.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion, integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust across diverse stakeholders.
  • Tech-savvy with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HR systems.
