About the opportunity

We continue to grow and innovate at Detmold Group; and we’re pleased to offer the newly created position of Group Transformation Manager, IT/Business Intelligence/Digital Marketing. 

Reporting to the CEO and based in Hindmarsh SA, you will champion, develop, and foster cross collaboration between the Information Technology (IT), Business intelligence and Digital Marketing businesses to create a new department focused on innovation and transformation.

Your experience leading global transformation initiatives in large and complex organisations across multiple offshore locations, will be critical for you to support our drive for growth and sustainability.

As a visionary leader, you inspire and motivate others; as a strategic thinker, you align transformation initiatives with organisational objectives.

In terms of specific responsibilities, you will:

  • Build and lead a high performing team to deliver quality outcomes. 
  • Devise strategies to encourage online sales and create frameworks that transform our social media sites.
  • Drive the business intelligence strategy to deliver process improvement & automation, system integration and data driven insights.
  • Establish technology governance policies and procedures.
  • Support technology and data transformation by taking a whole system end-to-end approach to ensure all systems are fit for purpose and architected appropriately to deliver. 
  • Implement and lead a service-oriented approach to internal customers of technology. 
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and efficiency of a reliable and sustainable operation of IT infrastructure, networks, storage infrastructure, cloud services, and systems to support operations.

About you 

What you’ll need:

  • Proven senior leadership experience. 
  • The ability to influence and persuade and get stakeholder “buy-in.”
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in global ERP management. 
  • The ability to create and drive strategy.
  • An understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into technical requirements. 
  • Exceptional business acumen and strong project management skills.
  • Expertise in digital transformation, emerging technologies, and innovation.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
  • A degree in computer science, information technology, business management or a related field.
