Business Development Specialist– Custom Printed Packaging | Cup & Carry (Melbourne or Adelaide-based)

At Cup & Carry, we make custom printing easy, fun, and fast—and we’re growing quickly. 

We help businesses stand out with custom-printed packaging that turns heads. Our diversified customer segments include cafes, food and beverage outlets, wineries, corporates and retailers giving you lots of variety and scope to be strategic and agile.  You will also build partnerships with resellers such as packaging distributors, promotional agencies, marketing companies, event management companies and other printers.

We’re on the lookout for a commercially savvy, energetic Business Development Specialist who loves building relationships, targeting opportunities, and closing deals. If you’re strategic, motivated, and ready to make an impact, this is your moment to shine.

You will be supported with a large customer database, ongoing leads, marketing resources and a good sales kit so you can work autonomously to drive your success. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving new business growth and achieving sales targets
  • Grow portfolio through volume growth, product ranging and new customers
  • Identifying and converting new opportunities into long-term customers
  • Turning packaging challenges into creative solutions and providing technical product support
  • Deepening relationships with existing clients and expanding product use
  • Representing our brand with confidence and professionalism
  • Staying ahead of industry trends, branding styles and environmental best practices
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and leveraging its power to your advantage

 

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in business development and solution-based selling
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A strategic mindset with a passion for solving customer challenges
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in FMCG, packaging, or print is a bonus—but not essential
  • A proactive, energetic attitude and a team-first mindset
