People Administrator
We are seeking a capable and organised People Administrator to join our People Services team based in Hindmarsh. This is a casual opportunity for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential for extension.
This role is ideal for someone with solid HR administration experience who enjoys working across the employee lifecycle, takes pride in accurate and timely work, and understands the importance of confidentiality and consistency in People processes.
About the Role
As the People Administrator, you will play a critical support role within the People team, providing high‑quality HR administration and coordination across onboarding, offboarding, documentation, systems, and compliance activities. You will work closely with the Regional People Services Manager and broader People team to ensure smooth, professional, and compliant People operations.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle Support
- Prepare employment contracts, variations, letters, and HR documentation
- Support onboarding, inductions, internal movements, and offboarding processes
- Coordinate pre‑employment checks and employment screening
- Maintain accurate employee records and organisational documentation
- Support probation and exit documentation processes
People Systems, Data & Compliance
- Maintain HR systems and portals (e.g. PandaDoc, LMS)
- Support learning, training, and compliance documentation and reporting
- Ensure employee data is accurate, complete, and confidential
- Provide regular reporting on People activities as required
General People Support
- Provide ad hoc HR administrative support to the wider People team
- Assist with People projects, initiatives, and events
- Work collaboratively with Payroll and internal stakeholders to ensure consistency
- Identify opportunities to improve People processes and administration practices
About You
You are organised, reliable, and proactive, with the ability to manage your workload effectively and complete tasks accurately and on time. You are comfortable working autonomously while also being a strong team contributor. You’re passionate about creating an exceptional employee experience through processes and making work simpler and more meaningful.
You will bring:
- Previous experience in HR administration (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Experience preparing employment contracts and HR documentation
- Understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycle, and confidentiality
- Strong organisation, time management, and attention to detail
- A positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders
- Confidence working across multiple tasks and priorities
Technical skills:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience using HR systems or HCM platforms (desirable)
- LMS and training compliance administration experience (desirable)
