We’re looking for a creative and collaborative Product Designer to join our LaunchPad team at Detmold Group. This is a close‑knit, supportive environment where everyone works toward the same goal: creating innovative packaging solutions that deliver real customer value.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and developing innovative packaging solutions and prototypes
• Creating and manipulating 2D and 3D CAD files
• Producing high‑quality paper and board prototypes
• Leading innovation support for key accounts, including customer meetings and brief discussions
• Using a variety of design and business systems: ArtiosCAD, WebCenter, Salesforce, QAD, Adobe Suite
• Operating prototyping equipment including: Kongsberg Cutting Table, 3D Printer, Vacuum Former
• Building commercial awareness by developing an understanding of product estimating
• Providing exceptional service to both internal teams and external customers

About you

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Industrial Design or Product Design
• 3–5 years’ experience in product or industrial design
• Strong design thinking skills and customer engagement capability
• Proficiency with 2D/3D design platforms and CAD (ideally ArtiosCAD)
• Excellent mechanical aptitude — able to convert 2D concepts into 3D prototypes
• Confident communicator across customer and internal stakeholder environments
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Hands-on approach with the ability to create physical samples and mockups

Nice to have

• Experience in packaging design, manufacturing, or product development
• Experience working in a design team with customer interaction
