Data Analyst
Detmold is seeking a Data Analyst who can assist our users to understand new technology applications, while working to enhance and troubleshoot existing solutions. The ideal candidate will be able to build sound partnerships with subject matter experts, technical partners, and IT. This role will support business users to improve efficiency and performance.

What you’ll do
- Develop a deep understanding of industry dynamics, business processes, and domain-specific terminology to contextualize data analysis and provide strategic guidance.
- Perform exploratory and statistical analyses on complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights that drive informed decision-making.
- Design and deliver clear, visually compelling reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools like Power BI to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate business processes, campaigns, and projects using data-driven metrics to assess performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
What you’ll bring
Essential
- Proven ability to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with a solid foundation in statistical methods and data modelling.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience using SQL Server, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and Power BI for querying, reporting, and visualization.
- Understanding of data structures, database design, data lifecycle management, and data governance principles.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, including Azure Fabric, Data Warehouses, and Data Lakes, and their role in modern data architecture.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences in both written and verbal formats while developing innovative solutions.
Desirable
- Basic understanding of project organisation and stakeholder management.
- Basic understanding of high-volume manufacturing and packaging industry.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
