NPI Project Specialist

Join a leading global packaging manufacturer and play a key role in delivering new product introductions across a fast‑moving, innovative business.

We’re seeking an organised and collaborative New Product Introduction Project Specialist to support the coordination and rollout of new products. You will be a part of the Group Supply Chain team and will work closely with cross‑functional teams based around the world ensuring projects stay on track, on budget, and aligned with business objectives.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement project plans for all NPI activities.
  • Manage project milestones, schedules, responsibilities and progress updates.
  • Prepare clear and timely project reporting for stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, manage documentation and support continuous improvement of NPI processes.
  • Lead meetings and coordinate actions, using project tools such as Smartsheets.

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • Experience in supply chain planning, operations or related fields.
  • Exposure to new product introduction or product lifecycle processes.
  • Strong project management, problem‑solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate across diverse teams and manage competing priorities.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational capability.
  • Advanced MS Excel and proficiency in MS Teams/Outlook/PowerPoint.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of packaging manufacturing processes.
  • Commercial or financial acumen.
  • Knowledge of supplier onboarding and sourcing processes.
  • Ability to build and articulate concepts through presentations.
  • Experience with Smartsheets.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong ability to collaborate across diverse teams and align competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem‑solving capability, with confidence making decisions when information is incomplete.
  • Ability to manage risk and anticipate challenges.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Continuously explore opportunities to improve the process.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Project Management, Business or similar.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a related role, ideally in manufacturing.
