Strategic Role in our World-Class LaunchPad Team
The New Product Development (NPD) Project Lead manages and drives the end-to-end delivery of strategic new product development projects, ensuring milestones, customer requirements, commercial objectives, compliance obligations, and stakeholder expectations are met. The role drives cross-functional collaboration, manages risks, provides project visibility, and supports informed decision-making through the stage-gate process to achieve successful product launches.
What You’ll Be Do:
- Lead the strategic planning, coordination, and delivery of key product development initiatives and priority projects.
- Champion the successful delivery of new product development projects, leading cross-functional teams from concept to launch while maintaining momentum and meeting key milestones.
- Partner with diverse teams across the organisation to align priorities, overcome challenges, and deliver high-impact projects on time and to scope.
- Lead the delivery of projects that consistently meet key deadlines, exceed customer expectations, and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare and present project status updates, lead technical and non-technical meetings, coordinate design, specification and testing reviews, and ensure stakeholders are regularly informed of project progress.
- Stay ahead of market trends by identifying new product opportunities, assessing commercial potential, and shaping innovation initiatives that drive business growth.
What You’ll Bring:
Essential
- Experience in a commercial or sales environment, coupled with the ability to identify customer priorities and translate them into business opportunities.
- The confidence to work with diverse stakeholders, challenge thinking respectfully, champion innovative solutions, and navigate issues to successful outcomes.
- Degree-qualified in a related field, or proven experience leading projects and product development initiatives.
- Strong learning agility with the ability to absorb, interpret, and apply information effectively.
- A proactive and outcome-focused professional who thrives on taking ownership, driving progress, and achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Packaging Manufacturing Experience.
- Understanding of product development processes and frameworks.
- Understanding of packaging legislative landscape and compliance frameworks.
- Involvement in Technical and Commercial decision making.
