Inventory Planner – Group Supply Chain

About the Role
As an Inventory Planner, you’ll play a key role in maintaining optimal inventory levels across our Australian and offshore warehouses. You’ll ensure alignment with supply chain processes and service level agreements, while also managing shipping tracking for the Detmold Group.
This role requires a sharp eye for data, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive under time pressures. If you’re agile, collaborative, and ready to juggle multiple priorities, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report significant forecast variances to the Demand team.
- Collaborate with Sales to ensure consistent product supply.
- Place orders within expected lead times and adjust as needed based on demand.
- Identify and rectify inventory errors and improve planning parameters.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support supply chain functions.
- Gather feedback and provide insights to enhance inventory performance.
About You
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in inventory planning, ideally within manufacturing or retail supply chains.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Confidence in managing daily operations alongside project work.
- Advanced data analysis capabilities and Excel proficiency.
- A calm, resilient, and team-oriented approach.
A tertiary qualification in business, supply chain, or a related field is highly regarded but not essential.
