It’s safe to say we’re not a typical service provider - we’re privately owned and operated and make people and culture a priority. We hire for the long term and have a strong focus on training and development of staff.

Every day our people come to Kinetic IT not just to work, but to be challenged, grow and be part of something bigger.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a talented Senior Application Developer to play a pivotal role within the newly established Service Innovation & Solutions function of Kinetic IT.

As the Senior Application Developer, you will join a highly skilled tribe of 13 exceptional professionals working across Product Management, Development, Engineering, Architecture, SCRUM Leadership and Quality Assurance. You will be responsible for the design and development of serverless applications via AWS and API’s, as-well as other components, enabling integration with on-premises customer systems and solutions.

As a senior member of the team, you will be recognised for your strength and knowledge of full stack development alongside and within AWS. This will allow you to mentor and guide the junior members of the tribe, as they develop their own capabilities. As this is a rapidly changing environment, the desire to learn and develop your own skills and capabilities across a range of new products and services is essential for this position.

By estimating your effort, you can look to improve and review the code base you’re working with, understand architecture and how it is delivered/run and the impact your changes have.

This is an opportunity to get involved in working with full-stack AI/ML and Data pipelines to ever expanding cohorts in our userbase.

Keen to get involved? You’ll just need some of the following:

  • Strong full stack application development experience
  • Experience in Application Development within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) serverless environment,
  • Demonstrated experience developing applications using NodeJS and REACT/Angular/VUE frameworks

  • Demonstrated ability delivering to project / date sensitive timelines
  • Experience with test automation practices and tools
  • Experience with automated application packaging and deployment tools
  • Good written communication skills (specifically writing technical and customer facing documentation)

Highly Desirable

  • Experience with Chatbot/Virtual Assistant solutions
  • Understanding of Voice User Interface (VUI) design
  • Understanding of Artificial Intelligence technologies
  • Experience delivering solutions which automate manual working practises (CI/CD)

Soft Skills:

  • Naturally curious and avid learner
  • Resilient to change and adaptive to changing circumstances
