Local Delivery Driver – Brisbane QLD (Crestmead)

Full-Time | Permanent | C-Class Licence Required | Paid Overtime

Direct Freight Express has an exciting opportunity for a reliable and motivated Local Delivery Driver to join our Crestmead team. If you enjoy being on the road, working independently, and delivering great service, this could be the perfect role for you.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive pay and the opportunity to earn additional income through overtime.

Working Hours (40 hours per week):

• Monday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Wednesday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver general freight across the local area on multi-drop delivery runs
• Complete scheduled daily pickups within the region
• Load and unload freight (some manual unloading required)
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks before commencing runs
• Accurately manage freight, parcels, and delivery documentation

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current C-Class driver’s licence
• Minimum 12 months multi-drop delivery experience
• A good driving history (no more than 6 demerit points remaining)
• Full Australian working rights
• A strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service

Additional Information

• Vehicle: Pantech truck used for local delivery runs
• Physical Requirements: Light to medium lifting and manual handling involved
