🎯About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead our teams across a diverse range of events. You'll manage cleaning operations at weddings, conferences, festivals, corporate events, and other high-profile occasions. This role offers real variety—no two events are the same—and requires someone who's organised, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional standards under pressure.

You'll be responsible for team leadership, quality delivery, safety compliance, and building strong relationships with clients and venue managers.

💪What You'll Be Doing

  • Supervise cleaning teams of 5 to 30+ staff across various venues including hotels, conference centres, event spaces, and outdoor locations
  • Develop detailed cleaning schedules and work plans for pre-event, during-event, and post-event phases
  • Conduct team briefings to communicate task assignments, safety requirements, and quality standards
  • Monitor cleaning quality throughout events and conduct spot-checks to ensure standards are maintained
  • Manage cleaning equipment and supplies—track inventory and ensure resources are available when needed
  • Liaise with event organisers, venue managers, and clients to understand requirements and address any issues promptly
  • Ensure health and safety compliance at all times; maintain incident records and report hazards
  • Support team development through coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Adapt quickly to unique venue challenges and find practical solutions when unexpected issues occur
  • Share ideas for process improvements and contribute to raising standards across the business

  • 3+ years of experience supervising cleaning teams in a commercial or hospitality environment
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high cleaning standards consistently, even under tight timescales
  • Strong organisational and planning skills; comfortable managing multiple priorities and last-minute changes
  • Excellent communication skills—you can brief teams, speak confidently with clients, and manage relationships professionally
  • Flexibility and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and ad-hoc event schedules
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations; you prioritise compliance and team wellbeing
  • Physical capability to be on your feet for extended periods and manage equipment as needed
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to stay calm and effective in fast-paced environments
