What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation
2. Ensuring all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations
3. Collaborating with the kitchen team to maintain efficient workflow and timely service
4. Assisting with inventory management and ordering of ingredients as required
5. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
6. Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive team culture

What we're looking for

1. Relevant experience as a chef or cook, preferably in a fast-paced hospitality environment
2. A minimum of 1-2 years of chef or cook experience is required for this position
3. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and flavour combinations
4. Excellent time management and multitasking skills to thrive in a busy kitchen
5. Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
6. A current food safety certificate is required at the start of employment.
7. A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is desirable but not essential.
8. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and under pressure
9. Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences
