About Rush People

Rush People is a Queensland-based staffing agency built on a simple belief: care works best when the people giving it feel supported, valued, and understood. We specialise in connecting compassionate, qualified individuals with NDIS and Youth Care providers across Queensland — people who bring warmth, skill, and respect to every interaction. We're more than a staffing agency; we're a people-first partner committed to building kinder, stronger care communities.

The Role

We're looking for dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team and make a real difference in the lives of NDIS participants across Queensland. Whether you're supporting someone in their home, in the community, or on shift with one of our provider partners, you'll be a trusted presence that helps participants live with dignity, independence, and connection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support to NDIS participants in line with their individual plans
  • Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and community access
  • Build genuine, respectful relationships with participants and their families
  • Maintain accurate shift notes and communicate any changes in participant needs
  • Uphold Rush People's values of integrity, reliability, and compassion in every interaction
  • Respond flexibly to a variety of shift types including days, evenings, and weekends

What You'll Need

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (preferred)
  • Valid Queensland driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • Blue Card (Working with Children) desirable
  • A genuine passion for supporting others and a calm, empathetic manner

What We Offer

  • Meaningful work that makes a real difference every single day
  • Flexible shift options to suit your lifestyle — casual, part-time, and ongoing roles available
  • A supportive team that has your back, with responsive coordination and clear communication
  • The opportunity to grow your career in the disability and community care sector

Ready to join a team that truly values the work you do? Apply now and let's make care better, together.
