THE OPPORTUNITY...

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Generalist - Retail to join our passionate and dynamic People Experience (PX) team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES...

  • Provide general advice and guidance to team, offering contemporary HR solutions and recommendations in relation to issues that arise
  •  Interpret HR policies and employment legislation, advise on risk management, and coach and support managers in handling people management, safety, talent development and change processes
  • Take a coaching approach for our Retail teams and provide information to facilitate effective, consistent, empowering people management
  • Identify and promote new ways of working and empowering approaches to people management in support of delivering the overall HR strategy
  •  Contribute to the development and implementation of new projects, policies and procedures to meet business objectives in the Retail space
  •  Assess and anticipate HR related needs, and through collaborative partnerships across Decjuba, delivering value-added service to management and employees
  •  Analyse trends and data in partnership with the HR Business Partner - Retail to develop solutions, programs and policies


OUR NEXT HR GENERALIST…

  • HR undergraduate qualification or similar
  • HR Generalist with a minimum of 2-3 years experience
  • Strong familiarity with the General Retail Industry Award
  • Sound understanding of WorkCover and RTW process
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation in Australia (mandatory) and New Zealand (preferable)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite and HR systems and applications
