Queensland Driller's Offsiders - Entry Level positions

This is a physically demanding role that will see you work in all weather conditions. In return you’ll be rewarded with a six-figure salary, even if you don’t have previous experience in this position.

The best part? All work-related travel, site accommodation and meals are covered by DDH1.

This is a FIFO role, must be willing to work in remote areas on a 4:2 roster

To be considered for DDH1 Offsiding positions , you will need to MEET the following requirements:

·        Heavy Rigid licence (HR)

·        Senior First Aid and CPR

·        Manual labouring experience and be physically fit to cope with the demands of the position.

·        Pass a stringent pre-employment medical including a clear drug and alcohol test

·        Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate

·        Be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident.

·        Have a strong work ethic, work’s as part of a team & have a Strong commitment to safety

·        Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills as you must be able to think on your feet

·        Current clean Police Clearance

Our Driller’s Offsiders are responsible for:

·        Mobilising rig from one set up to another

·        Handling core – removing from tube, placing in core boxes and labelling box

·        Handling drilling rods and core tubes

·        Mixing Drill Fluid Additives

·        Cleaning equipment and keeping work area clean

·        Assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs.
