About the Opportunity:
In order to achieve our growth strategies, we are now seeking an appropriately qualified and experienced HSET Advisor to join our team working across a number of our sites in WA.
Reporting directly to the HSE Operations Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide support, guidance and technical advice to line management and sited staff in relation to safety management, ensuring the team maintains a safe workplace/environment across all locations.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Assisting drill crews in the Risk Management process
· Conducting Inspections and Audits at remote locations
· Assisting with Investigations using the ICAM process
· Lead the review and development of operational procedures
· Participate in Fitness for Work testing
· Maintain data and registers in the Safety Management software
· Delivering effective training and VOC assessments in the field
· Participate in the development of WHS planning, policies and procedures
About You:
Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the mining industry, preferably with exposure to diamond drilling. Ideally with diploma level qualifications in WHS, a Cert IV TAE, and ICAM training. Experienced in coaching supervisors and frontline workers. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional time management and organisational skills; the ability to travel long distances and work on remote sites.
Salary and FIFO rosters will be discussed individually with applicants.
Relocation costs from other states to WA will be reimbursed.
