About the Role

Internal Apprenticeship Opportunity – Diesel Motor Mechanic

Are you mechanically minded? Do you have a keen interest in working with heavy vehicle mobile equipment? If you have a natural eye for detail and are good with your hands, becoming a Diesel Motor Mechanic apprentice could be for you!

We are looking for 1 WA based Apprentice.

 QUALIFICATION

This four-year apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Diesel Motor Mechanic and gain your Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (AUR31220).

To be suitable for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

1.    Work in a team and collaborative environment

2.    Exceptional time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

3.    Be mechanically and technically minded

4.    Work in accordance with current Occupational Health and Safety regulations

5.    Have a strong work ethic

6.    Demonstrate satisfactory numeracy and literacy skills

 WHO SHOULD APPLY?

We are looking for current employees who have been continuously employed with DDH1 Drilling for more than 18 months. They must be adaptable and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be someone who takes pride in your work and has a strong desire to become fully qualified in this field. Family members of current employees are also encouraged to apply!
