Digger Service Supervisor
Perth Based | Full-Time Permanent
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per annum + Superannuation + Performance Incentives

About the Role
As the Digger Service Supervisor, you will oversee and deliver machine jacking solutions, relocations, demobilisations, remobilisations, and major maintenance projects across Western Australia, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
You bring proven mining leadership experience, combining technical expertise, strategic planning, and team leadership skills to drive operational excellence, build high-performing teams, and consistently exceed customer expectations.
Work Pattern & Travel
- Monday to Friday roster
- Perth-based position located in Redcliffe
- Approximately four regional site trips per year
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and execute machine jacking solutions.
- Coordinate labour, contractors, cranes, transport providers, parts, and equipment resources.
- Develop project schedules, workforce plans, and mobilisation strategies.
- Manage project administration, including quotations, purchase orders, payroll approvals, invoicing, and cost control.
- Monitor project budgets and support the achievement of operational and financial targets.
- Lead and mentor employees and contractors, promoting a strong safety and performance culture.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure projects comply with company, client, and OEM requirements.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance project outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership for excavator maintenance, rebuilds, shutdowns, and component change-out activities.
Essential Requirements
- Experience with relocations, demobilisations, remobilisations, or major maintenance projects involving heavy mobile mining equipment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within mining and maintenance.
- Experience managing resources, contractors, and workforce requirements.
- Strong planning, scheduling, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing quotations, purchase orders, payroll approvals, invoicing, and project costs.
- Australian-recognised Heavy Mobile Plant Trade Qualification (Certificate III or equivalent).
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (minimum C Class).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience with ultra-class machinery (Hitachi, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr or similar).
- Strong understanding of digger structures, components, shutdowns, and maintenance practices.
- Maintenance planning experience, mobilisation, and compliance requirements.
