About the Role:
We currently have the role of Administration Co-ordinator available within our WestVic team. The focus of this role is to manage the administration and budgeting activities for our team supporting Western Victoria. You will play a key role assisting our Executive Officer in delivering executive support to the board, including managing the budgeting and reporting functions while also coordinating projects for the team, allowing them to deliver regional extension and on-farm change activities. The role will be offered at 0.6FTE.
The key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
- Support the Board through the preparation of agendas, recording minutes and preparing Board papers
- Manage the budgeting & reporting process and the approval of expenses
- Coordinate projects on behalf of the team to ensure key milestones are met
- Manage the contractual and reporting requirements of WestVic projects including preparing progress and final reports for Dairy Australia and other industry funders
- Assist the team in identifying funding opportunities and the preparation of funding applications and grant reports and acquittals
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Highly developed administrative, financial and organisational skills including sound project coordination skills
- Strong computer skills and experience with a range of software packages including Microsoft Office and CRM (we use Salesforce)
- Ideally you will have a Business administration or similar relevant qualification
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills appropriate for working with a diverse range of rural people
