The role 

We are specifically looking for an accomplished Senior Project Manager with a consulting background who has experience in delivering Cloud and Application migration projects. 

What you'll do?

  • Oversee the successful delivery of D6 Consulting projects and/or programs for customers while fostering future opportunities
  • Work with various technical teams and senior leaders to drive delivery based on best practices, standards, and Agile methodologies
  • Drive stakeholder engagement through owning, documenting and presenting detailed weekly steering committee meetings.
  • Participate in and help in Presales activities -Statements of Work (SOWs), responding to RFPs as necessary.
  • Share D6 Project Management and capabilities to prospective clients.
  • Promote D6 principals and ways of working

What Skills and Experience do you need? 

  • 8+ years managing ICT transformation projects with a strong focus/background in Cloud infrastructure and Data migrations
  • Understand business strategy & IT delivery particularly in AWS or Azure Cloud.
  • Significant agile (Scrum, SAFE, DSDM, Prince2 etc) experience in data engineering, dev ops or infrastructure projects
  • Experience working in large, complex organisations such as financial, government, healthcare, utilities etc..
  • Ability to adapt project management style and ways of working to suit the type of project and client requirements
  • Strong understanding of change management within a transformation
  • Accountability responsibility for the ways of working from definition, approach, facilitation, and satisfactory completion of projects to ensure business value
  • Exceptional genuine and personable communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills including C-suite expereince 
  • Ability to leverage internal teams' collective knowledge and experience to bring extensive industry and functional knowledge to our customers
