About the Role

We are looking for experienced carers to join our team on a casual basis, working with NDIS participants & ageing clients in Brunswick for a minimum of 15-20 hours a fortnight.

The client is a long-term client of Homewell who is now requiring 24/7 support. As a result, there are inactive overnights (sleepovers), weekends and public holidays available in this role.

Some of your tasks will include:

· Assisting clients/participants with daily living activities (including personal care)

· Providing companionship and emotional support

· Promoting independent living

· Providing transport and community access

· Provide domestic assistance as needed

About You

We are seeking caring, friendly, compassionate, people-focused individuals with strong communication skills who want a career that truly makes a difference in the lives of others. You will also have:

· Cert III or IV in Disability (required)

· Medication trained (desirable)

· Experience with complex supports

· Understanding of professional boundaries within the support work scope

· NDIS Worker Screening Check

· CPR and First Aid certifications

· Your own reliable transport with comprehensive insurance and a Victorian Driver Licence
