About the Role
Homewell are on a tremendous growth journey and are looking to build up our team of Domestic Assistants to better support our clients. Our Domestic Assistants provide essential cleaning services to our aged clients and NDIS participants living in the Inner Northern Suburbs, maintaining and enhancing their homes and standard of living, and reducing health and safety risks.
Locations include Taylors Lakes, Keilor East, Brunswick, Northcote, Thronbury, Coburn North, Essendon & Moonee Ponds.
Your responsibilities include:
- Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping
- Making beds and changing bed linen
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- Hanging, folding and ironing washing
- Dusting
This role is not restricted to home care professionals and those with domestic assistance experience already. Students currently studying healthcare or support work qualifications, as well as anyone interested in pursuing a fulfilling and impactful career in home care are highly encouraged to apply. About You
We are seeking caring, friendly, compassionate, people-focused individuals with strong communication skills who want a career that truly makes a difference in the lives of others. You will also have:
- Experience in aged care and/or NDIS (preferred)
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (desirable)
- Comfortable interacting with elderly clients
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Your own reliable transport with comprehensive insurance and a Victorian Driver Licence
