Security Loading Dock Manager
We are currently seeking a professional and proactive Security Loading Dock Manager to oversee the day-to-day security, safety, and operational management of a premium A-Grade commercial building located in Melbourne CBD.

About the Role
As the Security Loading Dock Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing loading dock operations, access control, contractor management, vehicle coordination, and site compliance. You will play a critical role in ensuring all dock activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site procedures and security protocols.
Working closely with building management, contractors, delivery drivers, and security personnel, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment while ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations across the site.
Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time Salaried Position
- Roster: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Location: Melbourne CBD
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee loading dock access control and vehicle management operations.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries in a safe and efficient manner.
- Monitor contractor activity and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
- Conduct regular safety and compliance inspections across the dock area.
- Maintain oversight of theft prevention and asset protection measures.
- Respond to incidents promptly and complete detailed incident reporting.
- Enforce site security protocols and identify potential operational risks.
- Liaise with tenants, contractors, drivers, and building management professionally.
- Maintain accurate records relating to deliveries, access logs, incidents, and compliance activities.
- Support emergency response procedures and overall site operations.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Current VIC Private Security Individual Licence (Required)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certifications (Required)
- Current Police Check (Required)
- Previous experience in security operations, loading dock management, facilities coordination, or similar environments.
- Strong understanding of access control, contractor management, and workplace safety procedures.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to confidently manage incidents and operational challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate reporting.
- Strong computer literacy and experience using reporting systems.
- Professional presentation and a proactive, leadership-focused approach.
