About the Role
As a Covert Security Operator, you will work within a corporate environment to proactively identify and
report behavioural indicators or actions that may present security or reputational risks. You will
seamlessly integrate into the client’s workplace culture, maintaining confidentiality while delivering
intelligence that supports a safe, compliant, and secure operational environment.
Employment Type: Casual Level 4
Roster/Hours: Monday-Friday, 0800-1700
Key Responsibilities:
• Discreetly observe and assess behaviours, activities, and interactions that may present a threat
to the organisation’s security or integrity.
• Identify early indicators of insider threat, information leakage, or concerning conduct.
• Provide timely, accurate intelligence reporting to Challenger Security’s operational leadership.
• Collaborate with covert operations and intelligence teams to strengthen behavioural and risk
awareness.
• Maintain a low profile and operate with complete discretion at all times.
• Uphold Challenger Security and client standards of professionalism and integrity.

Skills, Experience, and Attributes
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the security industry, ideally within covert, intelligence, or
protective roles. (Required)
• Strong reporting, communication, and interpersonal awareness skills. (Required)
• Current NSW security licence. (Required)
• Current First Aid. (Required)
• Experience in corporate, government, or technology-based security operations. (Desirable)
• Training or experience in behavioural threat assessment or protective intelligence. (Desirable)
• Background in law enforcement, defence, or specialised security operations. (Desirable)
• Ability to adapt quickly and integrate effectively within diverse teams and environments.
