WHO WE NEED
We are seeking a Full-Time Machine Operator / Line Leader to join our production team in Camellia. This is a key role responsible for operating thermoformer packaging machinery while leading a small packing team to meet daily production targets.
- Location: Camellia, NSW
- Shift Times: Monday to Friday | Shifts from 6:30am – 5:00pm
This is a high-impact, fast-paced role where you will take ownership of the line, ensuring efficient operation, quality output, and strong team performance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Set up and operate thermoformer packaging machines at the start of each shift
- Monitor and adjust machine settings (speed, temperature, vacuum, cycle time) to meet production targets
- Coordinate workflow across the packing line and ensure smooth product flow
- Lead and support a team of packing staff throughout the shift
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minimise machine downtime
- Handle and replace film rolls (20–25kg) safely
- Carry out general packing duties and operate additional line equipment as required
- Complete end-of-day shutdown, cleaning prep, and reporting
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Experience operating production or packaging machinery (thermoformer experience highly regarded)
- Ability to troubleshoot and adjust machinery in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership or leading-hand experience on a production line
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks (lifting up to 25kg)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Clear communication and ability to motivate a team
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
